about

“Les Nocturnes” is a reference to the nightly life of that moment, where many musicians spent a lot of time in a famous Parisian jazz-club, the Riverbop. Many groups started their life there, including Alien Quartet, Fusion, and of course Benoit Widemann in trio. The second solo is actually Dominique Bertram’s bass sound routed through a Moog filter.
